Black poster with orange-purple shapes advertising Newland Gallery open call and Darkfest Open Exhibition 2026.

I'm delighted to be exhibiting work in Worthing for the first time. I have longstanding personal connections to Worthing and Sussex, so it's especially pleasing to be showing my work here at Darkfest.

The show at Newland Gallery, the exhibition space at The Toad (one of Worthing's finest establishments) is part of Darkfest, a celebration of the dark and surreal, encompassing art, spoken word, film, music, noise, performance, exhibitions and cosplay.

In my wider practice, landscape is a recurring point of departure. My painting and work on paper explore the numinous and the imaginative possibilities of the natural world. The landscapes of Sussex have always been among the places that inform my work and inspire me, even when an image does not depict a recognisable location.

Further images and details of the painting are available in the shop. You can also explore my artworks, and read about the themes my work engages with.
