At The Edge Of Your Senses - Exhibition in Edinburgh

Currently on the walls of Detail Framing Studio you will find nine of my drawings. A couple of these pieces have not been shown before, and all of them are available to purchase from Jamie. Details of an evening event nearer the close of the exhibition will follow shortly. Check the Detail Framing website for details of opening times.

Our new exhibition by Edinburgh based artist, Andrew Phillips is now open. Artist Statement- Of all Nature’s forms, Mountains especially remind us of our capacity for awe, as they exist between the finite and the eternal — the threshold of the known and unknown. These drawings inhabit this imaginal space, responding to the presence of the physical world, and an inner, more intangible expression of mystery. The work is in part a conversation, a way of sensing and engaging with the ‘skull beneath the skin’ of landscape, intended to court images that allow for the land itself to speak.
